Journey with Friends
Monthly Travel Conversations Hosted by Lucas Peters
Join Lucas and Boris for an exciting conversation about the Kenya they know—the questions travelers ask us, the places worth making time for, and why a safari is only the beginning!
Boris has traveled and worked in more than 20 countries, but Kenya was the place that stayed with him. What began with a job in Nairobi slowly became a life spent exploring the country with his wife, Liz, and their two children.
Today, they live on the Laikipia Plateau, where Boris creates journeys that go well beyond wildlife sightings. For him, Kenya is just as much about its landscapes, communities, and people as it is about the animals—and that’s the Kenya he wants travelers to discover.
"There, I formed a deep connection with the Samburu community. Their philosophy, their relationship with land and time, and their way of seeing the world changed how I understood many things. I kept returning north, again and again, simply to walk, listen, and share stories with elders and warriors." - Boris on Kenya's Northern Frontier.
